Thousands of attendees enjoyed the first-ever PredsFest on Friday night at Bridgestone Arena - one perhaps more so than all the rest.
Reggie Hofferman, otherwise known as Nick Bonino, had an idea. So, a few hours prior to the event, the Predators centerman sat down at the Academy of Make Up Arts in Nashville. With the help of Director of Special Effects at AMUA Ben Rittenhouse - whose projects include Star Trek, The Hunger Games, Avatar and Anchorman, just to name a few - Bonino underwent a transformation from NHL player to die-hard fan who is not fond of barber shops.
After his hair and beard grew a foot longer in about an hour, Bonino - or Hofferman - took to the autograph lines, team photo in hand, seeking out signatures from his favorite players.
