In addition, Fox ranked tied for first among league defensemen in takeaways with 88, third in total power play time on ice (292:46) and ranked tied for fourth in game-winning goals (5). The 88 takeaways were the most by a Ranger in one season since the NHL began tracking the stat consistently in 2005-06. Fox was one of only four NHL players (only two defensemen) who averaged 3:30+ of PP ice time and 2:00+ of SH ice time per game this season alongside Cale Makar, Mitch Marner, and Aleksander Barkov.
