In partnership with Northwell Health, the Rangers will be celebrating and honoring the commitment, sacrifice, and contributions of frontline workers across the Tri-State area. Essential Workers Night presented by Northwell Health will take place during the Rangers vs. Devils game at Madison Square Garden on January 19, at 7 p.m. ET.
Throughout the evening, the Rangers will highlight and thank local heroes who have helped protect and care for New Yorkers during the COVID-19 pandemic. These essential workers include first responders and healthcare personnel, nursing home attendants, MTA employees, sanitation workers, and others.
The recognition will continue on the ice, as the Rangers will wear custom warm-up jerseys to be auctioned after the game at
auctions.nhl.com/newyorkrangers
, and an exclusive patch, inspired by Northwell Health's first responders, will also be available for purchase. Proceeds of both will benefit Northwell Health Foundation.
