Rangers to Celebrate Black History Night on Feb. 1 vs. PIT

The Rangers, along with presenting partner Chase, will kick off Black History Month with a night of celebration and veneration of Black achievements in hockey. Black History Night presented by Chase will be held February 1, at 7:00 p.m. ET, when the Pittsburgh Penguins visit The Garden to play the Rangers.
Prior to the game, the Rangers will facilitate a virtual roundtable focused on discussion about the Black experience in hockey, ongoing efforts to improve and change the culture of the sport, NY Rangers involvement within the Black community, and more.
In addition to the commemorative Willie O'Ree helmet decals which the team will wear throughout February, players will wear custom Black History Night themed warm-up jerseys that will be available for auction after the game. Proceeds of the auction will benefit the United Negro College Fund and the New York Urban League and bids can be placed at
