Team Notes

• POWER RANGERS -The Blueshirts were 2-for-4 (4:19) on the power play in tonight's game. New York has recorded a power play goal in two of the last three games and in three of the last five contests, and the Rangers have tallied six power play goals over the last five games (6-for-13; 46.2%*over the span). The Rangers recorded two or more power play goals in a game for the second time in the last five contests and for the seventh time this season.

• Mika Zibanejadtallied his second career NHL hat trick (first hat trick as a Ranger), tied a single-game career-high with four points*(three goals, one assist), recorded two power play goals, tallied the game-winning goal, led all skaters with five shots on goal, and posted a plus-two rating in 22:05 of ice time. Zibanejad was selected as the game's First Star. He posted a four-point game for the fifth time in his NHL career, including the fourth time this season and the second time in the last five games. Zibanejad is the first Ranger who has registered four four-point games in the same season since Jaromir Jagr in 2005-06. He also recorded the game-winning goal for the fourth time in the last five games, and he has tallied the game-winning goal in each of the Rangers' last four wins. Hehas registered a goal in four of the last five games (eight goals over the span), and he has posted a multi-goal game in three of those five contests. In addition, he has tallied a point in six of the last seven games and has registered 13 points (eight goals, five assists) in those seven games. Zibanejad leads the Rangers in points this season (48; 20 goals, 28 assists). Since the start of last season, Zibanejad is tied for sixth in the NHL in power play goals (22). Zibanejad is one of three Rangers who played in all of the team's first 50 games this season (along with Chris Kreider and Marc Staal). • Mats Zuccarellotied a single-game career-high with three assists, registered three primary assists, including one on the game-winning goal, notched a power play assist,and posted a plus-two rating while skating in a team-high 22:41 of ice time. Zuccarello was selected as the game's Second Star. Zuccarello posted a three-assist game for the eighth time in his NHL career. He*returned to the Rangers' lineup tonight after missing one game due to injury. Zuccarello skated in his 499th career NHL game (and his 499th career game as a Ranger) tonight, tying Ron Duguay for 36th place on the franchise's all-time games played list (among skaters). He also recorded his 342nd career point as a Ranger, tying Bob Nevin for 28th place on the franchise's all-time points list. Zuccarello also registered his 232nd career assist as a Ranger, tying Derek Stepan for 18th place on the franchise's all-time assists list. Zuccarello has tallied a point in each of the last six games which he has played, and he has registered 12 points (four goals, eight assists) over the span. He is tied for the team lead in power play assists this season (10). Zuccarello has logged at least 20:00 of ice time in each of his last three games and in six of his last seven games.
• Chris Kreidertallied a goal, recorded two shots on goal, and posted a plus-one rating in 21:18 of ice time. Hayes posted a multi-point game for the 10th time this season, as well as a multi-assist game for the seventh time in 2018-19. • Henrik Lundqvistearned his fourth consecutive win, his 16th win of the 2018-19 season, and the 447th win of his NHL career. • Marc Staalskated in his 811th career game as a Ranger in tonight's contest, tying Jim Neilson for eighth place on the Rangers' all-time games played list (among skaters). He also tied Neilson for the fourth-most games played by a defenseman in franchise history. The only defensemen who have played more games with the Rangers than Staal has are Harry Howell (1,160), Brian Leetch (1,129), and Ron Greschner (981).
