- Brendan Lemieuxtallied the first goal of the game, drew two penalties, registered three shots on goal, and recorded two hits while skating in a single-game career-high 15:39 of ice time. He*has notched six points (three goals, three assists) in 13 games with the Rangers, including five points (two goals, three assists) in the last nine games. Entering tonight's contest, Lemieux led NHL rookies (min. 20 games played) in goals per 60 minutes of ice time this season (1.40), and he also led all NHL players (min. 20 games played) in minor penalties drawn per 60 minutes of ice time in 2018-19 (2.80).
- Vinni Lettieriregistered a power play goal and established a single-game career-high (and led all skaters) with five shots on goal while skating in a single-game career-high 19:13 of ice time. Lettieri's goal was the second of his NHL career, his first power play goal, and his first career goal at Madison Square Garden.
- Filip Chytiltallied an assist and drew a penalty in tonight's game. Chytil registered his 25th career NHL point, and his 25 points are the fourth-most by a Rangers teenager in franchise history (Mike Allison - 60; Michael Del Zotto - 37; Alexei Kovalev - 29).He also skated in his 71st game of the 2018-19 season and in his 80th career NHL game in tonight's contest. Chytil's 71 games played this season are tied for third-most by a teenager in one season in franchise history (Mike Allison also skated in 71 games in 1980-81; the only teenagers who have played in more games in one season than Chytil has in 2018-19 are Michael Del Zotto - 80 in 2009-10, and Manny Malhotra - 73 in 1998-99). In addition, Chytil's 80 career games played as a teenager are tied for the second-most in Rangers history (tied with Del Zotto; Malhotra has the most with 100). Chytil is one of five NHL teenagers who have skated in at least 71 games this season (along with Miro Heiskanen, Rasmus Dahlin, Andrei Svechnikov, and Jesperi Kotkaniemi; of the five players, Chytil is the only one who was not selected third overall or higher in the NHL Entry Draft in either 2017 or 2018). In addition, Chytil, who was selected by the Rangers with the 21st overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, ranks third among players selected in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft in career NHL games played; the only two players with more games are the players who were selected first and second overall, Nico Hischier and Nolan Patrick).
- Mika Zibanejadrecorded an assist, led all skaters with 13 faceoff wins (13-for-20; 65.0%), registered two shots on goal, and posted a plus-one rating. He notched his 40th assist of the 2018-19 season, and he has reached the 40-assist plateau for the first time in his NHL career. Zibanejad leads the Rangers in goals (28), assists (40), and points (68) this season, and he has established career-highs in all three categories in 2018-19. He is the only Ranger who has skated in all of the team's 75 games this season.
- Pavel Buchnevichrecorded an assist,registered three shots on goal, and was credited with three hits in 18:21 of ice time. He extended his point streak to four games (two goals, two assists), and he has also recorded a point in five of the last six games (three goals, two assists).
- Tony DeAngelonotched an assist and registered three shots on goal while skating in a game-high 22:33 of ice time. DeAngelo has recorded an assist/point in 13 of his last 19 games (14 assists) and in 15 of his last 23 games (16 assists). He leads Rangers defensemen in points this season (28; four goals, 24 assists).
- Alexandar Georgiev*made 31 saves in tonight's contest. Georgiev has made 30 or more saves in 15 of his 29 NHL appearances this season. He ranks second among NHL rookie goaltenders in appearances this season (29).
