RANGERS RUNDOWN
- The New York Rangers play their first game of a back-to-back set when they take on the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place (9:00 PM ET - TV: MSG Network - Radio: ESPN 98.7 FM). The Blueshirts will play four of their next five games away from MSG.
- The Blueshirts have won six games in a row and have earned a point in eight-straight games (7-0-1). It is the Blueshirts' second win streak of at least six games in 2022-23 (also 7 GP from Dec. 5-18, 2022), marking the first time the club has had multiple six-plus game runs in a season since 2005-06 (7 GP & 6 GP).
- The Rangers have now earned points in nine of their last 10 games (8-1-1) and 16 of their last 18 games (13-2-3). Dating back to November 30, Rangers have points in 26 of their 31 contests (22-5-4).
- If the Blueshirts a point tonight, it would mark their first nine-game point streak since the 2015-16 season (13 GP) and first road nine-game point streak since the 2019-20 campaign.
- On the road, the Rangers have earned a point in eight-straight games (5-0-3) and 12 of their last 13 contests (9-1-3). New York has points in 19 of its last 22 games (15-3-4) away from home.

ROAD RANKS
The Blueshirts head into tonight's game as one of the best road teams in the entire NHL, winning five of their last seven road games and earning a point in 20 of 25 road games overall (16-5-4).
It is the fourth time in franchise history the club has won at least 16 of their first 25 road games.
GOALS GALORE
The Rangers have scored six goals in three-straight games and have scored four or more goals in six-straight contests.
It is the first time since 1989 and 12th time in franchise history they have reached the benchmark of three-straight six- plus goal games. The Blueshirts have scored four or more goals in six-straight games for the first time since Feb. 2-Mar. 2, 2006.
This season, the Blueshirts hold a 22-0-0 record when scoring four or more goals, making them one of two teams in the NHL (VGK) to have a perfect record in such cases.
BLUESHIRTS SINCE DECEMBER 5
Since December 5, the Rangers have a 21-4-3 record for 45 points. In that span, their 21 wins and 45 points are tied for the most in the league.
PANARIN'S POINTS
Artemi Panarin has recorded eight points over his last two games. Only two players in Rangers history have posted more points over a two-game span: Jean Ratelle (4-6-10 from Jan. 5-9, 1972) and Mark Pavelich (6-3-9 from Feb. 20-23, 1983).
He has three or more points in back-to-back games and points in five-straight contests (6G-6A). Since 2015-16, Panarin's 68 three-plus point games are the third most in the NHL behind Connor McDavid (97) and Leon Draisaitl (71).
Panarin has recorded his fourth 40-assist season with New York, becoming the ninth player with as many such campaigns for the Rangers, joining Brian Leetch (10x), Andy Bathgate (9x), Rod Gilbert (9x), Jean Ratelle (7x), Mark Messier (6x), James Patrick (5x), Walt Tkaczuk (5x) and Brad Park (4x).
MIKA'S MISSION
Mika Zibanejad has goals in five-straight games (7G), the longest active streak in the NHL. It his longest such streak since March 1-11, 2020 (6 GP). He has a team-leading 29 goals on the year.
With one more goal, he can tally his third career 30-goal season (2019-20, 2018-19).
Zibanejad has tallied 16 of his goals on the power play, a new career-high for him and tied for the second most in the NHL.
ADAM'S APPLES
Adam Fox has 10 goals and 41 assists for 51 points this season. He is one of only four NHL players, and the only NHL defensemen, with 50+ points and a +25 rating or better this season. Others: Pastrnak, Robertson, Pavelski.
Fox is the sixth defenseman in Rangers history to record consecutive 50-point seasons, joining Brian Leetch (1995-96- 1998-99, 1988-89 - 1991-92 & 2000-01 - 2001-02), James Patrick (1989-90 - 1991-92 & 1986-87 - 1987-88), Reijo Ruotsalainen (1981-82 - 1985-86), Ron Greschner (1978-79 - 1980-81) and Brad Park (1971-72 - 1974-75).
It his third straight season with 40-plus assists as he became the fourth defenseman in Rangers history to achieve the feat, joining Brian Leetch (4x), Brad Park (4x) and James Patrick (3x).
When he records multiple points, the Rangers are 11-0-0.
KREIDING TO MAKE HISTORY
Chris Kreider has points in six-straight games (3G-4A and recently surpassed Mark Messier for sole possession of seventh place on the Rangers' all-time list with 251 career goals.
Kreider has 22 goals on the season. He is one of six players in Rangers history with at least eight 20-goal seasons: Rod Gilbert (12x), Jean Ratelle (9x), Adam Graves (8x), Andy Bathgate (8x) and Camille Henry (8x).
Kreider has 36 career game-winning goals, tying him with Adam Graves for the seventh most in franchise history.
BLUESHIRT BULLETS
- Igor Shesterkin is 24-8-7 on the season, his 24 wins are the fourth most in the NHL. Shesterkin is 14-4-4 in his last 22 starts. On the road, he holds a 10-1-4 record .
- Jaroslav Halak has wins in seven-straight games and in eight of his last nine appearances in net. This is the fifth time in his career Halak has held a win streak of seven or more games, most recently the 2014-15 season.
- Filip Chytil, playing in his 300th game tonight, has goals in five of his last eight games and points in six of his last eight games (7G-2A). In his last 16 games, Chytil has 16 points (11G-5A).
