  • GOALS GALORE- The Blueshirts have registered 85 goals in the first 22 games of this season. The Rangers have tallied at least 85 goals in the first 22 games of one season for the first time since 1992-93. New York leads the NHL in goals per game in 2016-17 (3.86).
  • BOUNCE BACK - Since Dec. 22, 2015, the Rangers have posted a 23-4-1 record in the game following a loss (regulation or overtime/shootout). New York has posted a 6-0-1 record in games following a loss in 2016-17. The Rangers have not gone two consecutive games without earning at least one point in 2016-17.
  • MAKING THE DIFFERENCE - The Rangers lead the NHL in goal differential this season (plus-30; 85 goals for, 55 goals against). The Blueshirts have posted a plus-30 goal differential or better through 22 games of a season seven times in franchise history.
  • ROAD WARRIORS - New York leads the NHL in road wins since the start of the 2013-14 season (79). The Rangers have won six of their last seven road games (6-1-0) and seven of their last nine road contests (7-2-0).
  • ON POINT- Three Rangers defensemen (Ryan McDonagh, Brady Skjei, and Nick Holden) have tallied nine or more assists this season. Three Blueshirts defensemen have registered nine or more assists in the first 22 games of one season for the first time since 1991-92 (Brian Leetch, James Patrick, and Per Djoos).
  • FINISHING THE JOB- The Blueshirts have posted a 13-0-0 record in games which they have held a lead entering the third period this season. Since the start of the 2010-11 season, the Rangers have posted a 180-3-8 record in 191 regular season games in which they have held a lead entering the third period.
  • THREE'S COMPANY- The Rangers have registered three or more goals in 16 of 22 games in 2016-17.
  • BOYS IN BLUESHIRTS - New York wore its blue jersey on the road for the first time this season. Last season, the Rangers won the only game in which they wore their blue jersey on the road (Mar. 8, 2016 at Buffalo; 4-2 win).
  • FLYING HIGH - The Rangers registered a win against the Flyers on Black Friday for the second time in the last three years (also on Nov. 28, 2014 - 3-0 win at Philadelphia). The Rangers have earned a win in each of their last four games against the Flyers. New York has earned at least one point in nine of its last 11 games against Philadelphia, dating back to Mar. 26, 2014 (8-2-1). In addition, the Blueshirts have registered a 20-6-1 record in their last 27 games against the Flyers, dating back to Mar. 6, 2011.
  • IN REAL TIME- The Rangers were credited with 37 hits and 27 blocked shots in today's contest. The Blueshirts recorded at least 30 hits and 20 blocked shots in the same game for the first time this season. New York's 37 hits in today's contest were the most the team has recorded in one game this season.
  • SECOND HELPING - The Rangers have outscored their opponents, 36-16, in the second period this season.

  • Henrik Lundqvist made a season-high 40 saves, including 19 in the third period, to earn his 10th win of the 2016-17 season. Lundqvist made 40 or more saves in a regular season game for the 18th time in his NHL career, and he earned a win in a game which he made 40 or more saves for the first time since Nov. 21, 2013 at Dallas. In the 18 games in which Lundqvist has made 40 or more saves in his career, he has posted a 10-1-7 record, along with a 1.69 GAA, a .961 SV%, and 4 SO. In his last 13 starts, Lundqvist has posted a 9-3-1 record, along with a 2.22 GAA, a .926 SV%, and 1 SO. In his last 22 appearances against the Flyers (dating back to Mar. 6, 2011), he has posted an 18-3-1 record, along with a 1.80 GAA, a .942 SV%, and 2 SO. Lundqvist earned his 384th career NHL win in today's contest, and he is one win away from tying Mike Vernon for 13th place on the NHL's all-time wins list. Lundqvist has made at least 30 saves in four games in 2016-17, and he has posted a 4-0-0 record, along with a 1.25 GAA, a .967 SV% (146 saves on 151 shots), and 1 SO in those four contests.
  • Derek Stepan tallied a goal, won 13 of 22 faceoffs (59.1%), and led the Rangers with four shots on goal in 19:52 of ice time.
