The National Hockey League has announced the schedule for the First Round series of the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs between the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils. The Blueshirts open the series on the road in New Jersey on Tuesday, April 18 at 7:00 PM ET and will play their first home game of the postseason on Saturday, April 22 at 8:00 PM ET.
Games 1, 2, and 4 in the First Round will be televised on MSG Network and nationally televised on either Turner or ESPN while Game 3 will be televised exclusively on ABC. In addition, every game can be heard on ESPN Radio

The Rangers face their Hudson River rivals in the postseason for the seventh time in history (2012, 2008, 2006, 1997, 1994, 1992). New York has taken four of those six previous meetings, with the most recent series win against the Devils coming in the 2008 Conference Quarterfinals.
