Team Notes

• BOUNCE BACK- Since Dec. 22, 2015, the Rangers have posted a 28-5-1 record in the game following a loss (regulation or overtime/shootout). New York has posted an 11-1-1 record in games following a loss in 2016-17.
• WHAT A LINE - The Chris Kreider-Derek Stepan-Mats Zuccarello line registered four points (two goals, two assists) in tonight's game and has tallied 13 points (five goals, eight assists) over the last two games.
• ON POINT - Rangers defensemen registered six points (two goals, four assists) in tonight's contest, and at least one defenseman tallied a point on each of the team's four goals. Three Rangers defensemen have recorded 16 or more points this season (Ryan McDonagh, Nick Holden, and Brady Skjei).

• Nick Holden tied a single-game career-high with two goals, registered the game-winning goal, and posted a plus-one rating in 21:23 of ice time. Holden posted a multi-goal game for the third time in his NHL career and for the first time since Mar. 2, 2014, when he was a member of the Colorado Avalanche. He leads Rangers defensemen in goals (six) and even strength goals (five) this season, and he has recorded six points (three goals, three assists) in the last nine games.
• Derek Stepan registered two goals and led the Rangers with four shots on goal in 21:36 of ice time. He extended his point streak to four games (four goals, three assists over the span), and he has registered at least one goal in each of the last two games (three goals over the span). He has recorded 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in the last 19 games, including 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in the last 13 contests. Stepan has registered a point on six of the Rangers' last nine goals, and he leads the team in points this season (28; nine goals, 19 assists).
• Ryan McDonagh established a single-game career-high with three assists and tied a single-game career-high with three points while skating in a team-high 27:21 of ice time. McDonagh has now posted a three-point game three times in his NHL career (he also did so on Mar. 24, 2014 vs. the Coyotes and Dec. 6, 2015 vs. Ottawa). The Rangers have posted a 26-4-3 record in the last 33 games which McDonagh has logged at least 25:00 of ice time, dating back to Oct. 16, 2014. He has led the Rangers in ice time in 34 of 36 games he has played this season.

Blueshirt Breakdown

• Antti Raanta made 33 saves, and stopped all 24 shots he faced over the final two periods, to earn his ninth win of the season. Raanta has posted a 15-2-1 record in games which he has made at least 30 saves in his career.
• Mats Zuccarello recorded an assist and posted a plus-one rating in 20:36 of ice time. Zuccarello extended his assist/point streak to four games (six assists over the span), and he has registered four primary assists over the last two games. He has also recorded 11 points (one goal, 10 assists) in the last 12 games.
• Chris Kreiderregistered an assist and recorded three shots on goal in 20:38 of ice time. He has tallied five points (three goals, two assists) in the last four games and 12 points (seven goals, five assists) in the last 13 contests.
• Kevin Hayes recorded an assist in tonight's contest. Hayes has notched five points (one goal, four assists) in the last 10 games, and the Rangers have posted a 17-1-0 record in games which he has registered a point this season.
• Brady Skjeinotched an assist on the game-winning goal and tied for the game-high with five hits. As of the conclusion of tonight's game, Skjei is tied for third among NHL rookies in assists this season (15).
