Red Wings release 2020-21 training camp roster and daily schedule

Forty players set to start camp at Little Caesars Arena on Friday

DETROIT - The Detroit Red Wings today released their training camp roster and schedule, comprised of 40 players who will hit the ice on Friday, Jan. 1 at the BELFOR Training Center inside Little Caesars Arena. Camp will run through Monday, Jan. 11 prior to the beginning of the 2020-21 regular-season opener against the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday, Jan. 14.

The Red Wings will have 23 forwards, 12 defensemen and five goaltenders who will participate in daily on-ice practices. Red & White scrimmages will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 5, Friday, Jan. 8 and Sunday, Jan. 10.
