Larkin has missed just 10 games in his five-year NHL career and has led the Wings in points in each of the last three seasons.
2019-20 was another productive season for Larkin as the 24-year-old skated in all 71 games and paced the club in assists and points, and the Waterford native eclipsed several milestone numbers, including 350 games, 100 goals, 150 assists and 250 points.
Larkin also continued to grow his leadership role on and off the ice last season. He's always been a leader by example with his play on the ice, but now as one of the longest-tenured Wings on the roster, Larkin has become an increasingly significant voice in the dressing room.
He's been leading offseason workouts with his teammates and he's chomping at the bit to get back to Little Caesars Arena.
"I'm hungrier than I've ever been," Larkin said in May. "I've been in the gym since this all ended in March. I can't wait to get back to playing and I want to be in the best shape of my life next year and play big minutes and contribute in any way I can."
50,000 - In April, Larkin and his father, Kevin, donated 50,000 vinyl powder-free and nitrile gloves to assist medical professionals at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. 25,000 gloves went to the Detroit Medical Center and the other half went to St. Joseph Mercy Health System.
350 - On December 10, Larkin played his 350th NHL game as the Red Wings faced the Winnipeg Jets on the road. Larkin finished the 2019-20 campaign with 389 games under his belt.
53 - Larkin's 53 points led the club. It's the third consecutive season that Larkin has led the Wings in points.
52.5 - Larkin has continued working to improve his percentage in the face-off circle. His 52.5 face-off percentage last season was the second-best of his career, just shy of the 54.5 percent he earned in 2018-19.
45 - Larkin has worked hard at improving his two-way play, and his career-high 45 blocks last season proves just that.
5 - At just 23 years of age when the campaign ended, 2019-20 was Larkin's fifth full season in the NHL. He made his NHL debut on October 9, 2015 at Joe Louis Arena.
4 - With all the moves made this offseason, Larkin is currently the fourth-longest-tenured member of the Red Wings roster. Only Darren Helm, Danny DeKeyser and Luke Glendening have donned the Winged Wheel longer than Larkin (not including Valtteri Filppula who re-joined the club in 2019-20).
2 - 2019-20 was the second time that Larkin has skated in every game the Red Wings played in a season. He skated in all 71 games in the COVID-shortened season after skating in all 82 games for the Wings in 2017-18.
