Red Wings to host free #LGRW Draft Party presented by Meijer on July 23

DETROIT --The Detroit Red Wings today announced details for the #LGRW Draft Party Presented by Meijer, set for Friday, July 23 at Little Caesars Arena in The District Detroit. Fans of all ages are invited to the free event to watch the Red Wings make their two scheduled first-round selections of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft live on the outdoor video board in Chevrolet Plaza.
The fun will begin at 6 p.m., and continue through the first round of the NHL Entry Draft, highlighted by the Red Wings' scheduled selections at sixth and 23rd overall. The NHL Entry Draft will begin at 8 p.m., and air live in Chevrolet Plaza and within Little Caesars Arena. Winged Wheel Nation members in attendance will enjoy a private reception with complimentary food & beverages in the Budweiser Biergarten.

. Next week, registered fans will also be emailed a parking code good for complimentary entry into the Little Caesars Arena Garage (165 Sproat St.) or the Henry West Garage (128 W. Fisher Service Dr.).
Concessions will be available for purchase and the Team Store will be open. Photo opportunities will be available inside and outside Little Caesars Arena, and tailgate games will be set up for fans of all ages. Select Red Wings alumni will be signing free autographs from the Via concourse.

Detroit's own Dan Rafferty Band will perform live from Chevrolet Plaza beginning at 6 p.m., and a panel featuring Red Wings radio voice Ken Kal, Red Wings TV's Carley Johnston and Art Regner and select alumni will entertain fans and discuss the Draft starting at 7:30 p.m. Throughout the evening, fans in attendance will enjoy the opportunity to win great Red Wings prizes, including tickets to the 2021 Home Opener, authentic jerseys, merchandise, #LGRW flags and much more.
