Harri Sateri made 29 saves for the Detroit Red Wings in a 3-2 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena on Sunday.
Michael Rasmussen, who the Red Wings selected with the No. 9 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, scored at 4:07 of the second period to tie it 1-1. Andreas Athanasiou scored two minutes later to give the Red Wings a 2-1 lead, and Trevor Daley extended the lead to 3-1 at 9:54. Teddy Blueger cut it to 3-2 at 11:46 of the second period. Ryan Haggerty gave the Penguins a 1-0 lead at 6:34 of the first period. Casey DeSmith got the start for Pittsburgh and allowed three goals on 13 shots in 29:54. He was replaced by Tristan Jarry, who made 20 saves.
