BUFFALO -- The Detroit Red Wings will wrap up the October slate with an Atlantic Division road matchup against the Buffalo Sabres on Monday night. Puck drop from KeyBank Center is set for 7 p.m., with broadcast coverage on Bally Sports Detroit Extra and the Red Wings Radio Network (97.1 The Ticket in Detroit).

Lucas Raymond recorded his first multi-goal game of the season for Detroit (4-2-2; 10 points)
in a 2-1 win over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday.
According to captain Dylan Larkin, the Red Wings need to recreate the same emotion when they take the ice against the Sabres (5-3-0; 10 points).
"We were shorthanded with a couple guys out," Larkin said. "We grinded. (Ville) Husso was good, our D was good and that PK in the second was gutsy. It was an emotional game. We brought the emotion. When we have that, we've played really well."

Raymond's 2 goals lift Red Wings over Wild

Saturday's result marked Detroit's first one-goal win this season after going 15-1-10 in one-goal games last season.
"A team win," Red Wings head coach Derek Lalonde said. "Just everyone chipping in. This is a really hard league to win in, let alone having five of our top seven or eight minute-guys out. I don't care who you are, it's gonna be a really tough challenge."

Rasmus Dahlin (5-5-10) has three multi-point games this season, while Alex Tuch is tied with Victor Olofsson for the team lead in goals with six. Craig Anderson has a 3-0-0 record and ranks third among NHL goalies in goals-against average (1.66) and save percentage (.946).
Detroit and Buffalo will play at Little Caesars Arena on Nov. 30 before returning to KeyBank Center on Dec. 29. The Red Wings will host the Sabres again to conclude the season series on April 6, 2023.
