DETROIT -- The Detroit Red Wings will conclude the November slate with a matchup against the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night at Little Caesars Arena.

Puck drop between Detroit (11-6-4; 26 points) and Buffalo (9-12-1; 19 points) is set for 7 p.m., with TV broadcast coverage airing exclusively on TNT. Ken Kal and Paul Woods will have the call on the Red Wings Radio Network (97.1 The Ticket in Detroit).
After falling, 4-2, to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday,
head coach Derek Lalonde said he is eager to see how his club responds against another Atlantic Division rival in Buffalo.
"A team that isn't a winning team, or is still finding themselves, now you play poorly on Wednesday and you're amidst a two-game losing streak," Lalonde said. "I'm excited to see how this team is gonna handle this."

Despite finishing with 44 shots on goal against the Maple Leafs, the Red Wings couldn't overcome a 2-1 deficit after the first period. With the loss, Detroit also saw its four-game winning streak end.
"The puck just didn't go our way, which is gonna happen," Lalonde said. "I thought our guys hung in there and played the right way for the most part."
After Tuesday's practice, Lalonde said that Alex Nedeljkovic will make his first start in goal since Nov. 12 when the Sabres visit Little Caesars Arena for the first time this season on Wednesday.
"It's been a while, but that's the nature of this position sometimes," said Nedeljkovic, who stopped all 12 shots he faced after replacing Ville Husso during the second period of Monday's game. "You go through spurts of playing a lot of games in a short amount of time or you go through playing a few games in a long amount of time."
