RECAP: Seven different Red Wings score in 7-4 win over Sharks

SAN JOSE --Moritz Seider's first goal of the season couldn't have come at a better time.

Seider scored to break a 4-4 tie with 6:06 remaining in the third period, and the Red Wings snapped a four-game losing streak with a 7-4 win over the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night at SAP Center.
"We wanna finish on a positive way and get as many points on this road trip," Seider said. "We had a tough start in Los Angeles, but we had a really good bounce-back game tonight. I'm really proud of the guys."
David Perron (1-2--3) paced Detroit's offense with three points, while Pius Suter and Dominik Kubalik each recorded a goal and an assist. Filip Hronek, Jake Walman and Joe Veleno also found the back of the net for the Red Wings, who matched a season high with four goals in the third period.
"They hung in there and found a way to get a win on the road against a pretty good team," head coach Derek Lalonde said. "So this is a good win for us."
Ville Husso made 21 saves for Detroit, which improved to 8-5-4 overall (20 points) and 3-3-2 on the road this season.
NEXT UP: The Red Wings will conclude their current four-game road trip against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday night at Nationwide Arena.

The Sharks struck first when Kevin Labanc took Erik Karlsson's behind-the-back, between-the-legs feed and scored.
Detroit 1, San Jose 1 (9:39, 1st period)
Perron put a pass across the slot to Hronek, who skated to the bottom of the right faceoff circle and beat San Jose goalie James Reimer with a shot into the roof of the net. Credited with the lone assist on Hronek's second goal of the season, Perron also extended his point streak to three games.

Matt Nieto maneuvered through Detroit's defensive zone and got a backhander past Husso.
Detroit 2, San Jose 2 (11:27, 2nd period)
A Sharks turnover below the Red Wings' blue line led to a three-on-two rush, as Perron deflected Larkin's shot through Reimer's legs for his sixth goal of the season. Kubalik was also credited with a helper on Perron's equalizer.
Detroit 3, San Jose 2 (16:44, 2nd period)
Michael Rasmussen's diving effort ensured the puck got to Walman at the point, who blasted a shot past Reimer. Adam Erne also picked up an assist on Walman's first goal with the Red Wings.

Veleno, assisted by Suter and Jonatan Berggren, scored a wrap-around goal for his second tally in the past four games.

Logan Couture capitalized on a rebound, pulling San Jose back within one.

Copp, playing in his 500th career NHL game, sent the puck up the ice to Suter. After making a move to beat Reimer, Suter scored his fourth goal of the season.

Larkin's initial empty-net attempt missed, but Dominik Kubalik grabbed the bouncing puck and scored, capping a four-goal period for the Red Wings. Larkin finished Thursday's game with two helpers.
