Stevens, 26, spent the 2022-23 campaign with the American Hockey League's Utica Comets, recording 33 points (15-18-33), a plus-nine rating and 17 penalty minutes in 48 games, in addition to two points (1-1-2) in six postseason appearances. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound forward split the 2021-22 AHL season between the Springfield Thunderbirds and Iowa Wild, logging 12 points (3-9-12), a plus-three rating and 10 penalty minutes in 20 games with the Thunderbirds before posting seven points (3-4-7) and 16 penalty minutes in 33 contests with the Wild. Originally selected by the St. Louis Blues in the fifth round (125th overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, Stevens has racked up 119 points (45-74-119) and 77 penalty minutes in 237 AHL games with the San Antonio Rampage, Comets, Thunderbirds and Wild since 2018-19. He is the son of Vegas Golden Knights assistant coach John Stevens, who previously served as bench boss of the Philadelphia Flyers from 2006-10 and Los Angeles Kings from 2017-19.
