This week, Sabres,com's Prospecrs Update puts a spotlight on Devon Levi, Josh Bloom, Isak Rosen and Nikita Novikov.
Hockey East named Devon Levi the conference's Rookie of the Week after the goaltender recorded his fifth shutout of the season. Through 14 games, the Northeastern sophomore is 9-4-1 with a 1.49 goals-against average and a nation-leading .949 save percentage.
He stopped a career-high 38 shots in Friday's win and then made 33 more saves the next night.

This is the second Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week Award for Levi after he earned the same honor on October 4, 2021. He also was the Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month for October and earned Hockey East Goaltender of the Week honors on October 25.

Levi will be back in action when the Huskies face RPI on Friday at 3 p.m. on ESPN+.

Bloom keeps producing

Forward Josh Bloom had a big week for the Saginaw Spirit. In three games, he potted five goals (including two game winners) and a pair of assists.
He leads the club with 20 points (12+8) in 15 games played. That's tied for 20th in the entire OHL. He's tied for ninth in the league in goals.
Buffalo selected Bloom in the third round (95th overall) of this year's draft.

Rosen tallies twice

Isak Rosen, Buffalo's second first-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft (14th overall) scored twice for Leksand in the Champions League Playoffs on Tuesday.
In SHL action this season, he's recorded four points (2+2) in 20 games.

Novikov added to WJC camp roster

Defenseman Nikita Novikov, a sixth-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, has been added to Russia's World Junior camp roster.
He's played 28 games for the KHL's Dynamo Moskva this season, logging four points (1+3).
The 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship will begin in about a month. Canada is hosting the tournament, which starts December 26 in Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta.
