Biro, 23, is third on the Amerks in scoring with 36 points (9+27) in 39 games. He has not gone consecutive games without a point since November 27.
He signed with Buffalo as a free agent in March 2020 after a four-year collegiate career at Penn State. Biro was limited to just 15 AHL games last season due to injury.
While he has been up with the Sabres' taxi squad this season, he has yet to make his NHL debut.
