The 27-year-old netminder has played in 82 career NHL games with Boston, Vegas and Chicago, logging a 36-31-8 record, an .899 save percentage and a 3.02 goals-against average.
This season with AHL Rockford, he's 2-2-1 with an .893 save percentage and a 3.38 goals-against average.
The Toronto native was selected by the Bruins in the first round (24th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft and he turned pro in 2013, spending the first of four seasons with Providence of the AHL.
He signed a two-year contract extension with Chicago in October 2020.
