The Buffalo Sabres have claimed forward Tyson Jost off of waivers from the Minnesota Wild, the team announced Saturday.
Forward Anders Bjork was reassigned to the Rochester Americans in a corresponding move.
Jost, 24, has three assists in 12 games this season. The Wild acquired the forward last March in a trade with the Colorado Avalanche, with whom Jost spent the first five-plus seasons of his career.

Colorado selected Jost with the 10th-overall pick in the 2016 NHL Draft. He has 112 points (47+65) in 354 career NHL games.
Jost has averaged over a minute of shorthanded ice time per game in each of the last three seasons, including 1:28 this season for a Wild penalty kill that is tied for 12th in the NHL.
The Sabres play Saturday night in Toronto, then conclude a run of three straight road games in Montreal on Tuesday. The team returns home to host the St. Louis Blues next Wednesday.
