Note: Fan Fest is a rain or shine event. In the event of inclement weather, programming will be moved inside KeyBank Center.
Current players and alumni? Can you be more specific?
Yes, we can. Casey Mittelstadt, Kyle Okposo and Jeff Skinner are all scheduled to attend.
The long list of alumni who will join the celebration includes Gilbert Perreault, Rene Robert, Danny Gare, Jerry Korab, Craig Ramsay, Don Edwards, Larry Playfair, Mike Foligno, J-P Dumont, Jay McKee and Patrick Kaleta, among several others.
You can check out the complete list of participating players and alumni, subject to change, by clicking here.
Past Sabres will sign autographs and take the stage to share memories from their time in blue and gold (or black and red). The current Sabres will discuss the upcoming season and participate in on-stage activities, then give children 12 and under an opportunity to ask them questions in a press conference setting.
Botterill and Krueger will also take the stage with Sabres broadcaster Brian Duff to discuss their vision for 2019-20 season.
\Rasmus Dahlin will no longer be able to attend due to travel complications.*
When the players aren't on stage, who will provide entertainment?
DJ Milk will set the ambiance in the afternoon, followed by live music from The Strictly Hip. Fans can enjoy an assortment of games including corn hole, bubble hockey and target shot while face painters, balloon artists and tattoo artists (temporary, of course) will be on hand for the kids.
You can also check out displays containing memorabilia from 50 years of Sabres hockey as well as the 11 NHL Awards won by Sabres players. Looking at you, Dom.
Thanks, that sounds great! But what if I get hungry?
Food and beverage will be available for purchase from 716 Food and Sport and The Draft Room along with a selection of concession items that will be available inside KeyBank Center this season.
I'm a season ticket holder. Does that get me anything extra?
Sure does. The Sabres will be offering locker room tours for season ticket holders, which will offer both a behind-the-scenes look at where the players suit up and an opportunity to say hello to alumni who will be stopping by the room throughout the day.
If you have season tickets, stay tuned for an email with info on how to register.
(There's still time for fans to get their season tickets, by the way. Click here to become a season ticket holder and ensure you don't miss any of The Golden Season celebrations.)
Anything else I need to know?
