Sabres coach Don Granato announced Saturday that rookie Jack Quinn will miss at least four weeks with a lower-body injury.
Quinn sustained his injury against the Stars on Thursday. He scored his first NHL goal and assist in that game.
"There is a window between weeks four and six of his recovery where he can get more engaged," Granato said.

Brett Murray, who was reassigned to Rochester when Quinn came up to Buffalo on Thursday, has been recalled from the taxi squad. He will be in the lineup for the Sabres this afternoon against the Flyers.
Granato said he is not concerned that the injury will stunt Quinn's development.
"He just continues to find ways to continue to learn as we have seen all season," the coach said.
