Buffalo Sabres forwards Zemgus Girgensons and Jeff Skinner have been placed in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol, the team announced Tuesday.
Forward Vinnie Hinostroza was previously placed into protocol on Monday.

Buffalo's next scheduled game is Monday, Dec. 27 at home against the New York Islanders. The team had three games postponed (home against Columbus on Dec. 20, home against Colorado on Dec. 22, and at Columbus on Dec. 23) due to COVID-19 cases affecting the Avalanche and Blue Jackets.
The NHL and NHL Players' Association announced Monday that they had had agreed on a revised holiday break beginning on Dec. 22, with players now reporting back to their clubs on Dec. 26. Find the full details of that announcement in the below tweet.
