EDMONTON - Ilya Lyubushkin is day to day after exiting Tuesday's game against the Edmonton Oilers with an injury, Sabres coach Don Granato announced.
Lyubushkin completed his final shift of the second period with 10:45 remaining. He returned for one 23-second shift to begin the third period but did not play after that.
The injury came during an eventful game for the defenseman. In 8:36, he delivered two highlight-reel hits and recorded two blocked shots.
"He played very well for us and we missed him in the third," Granato said.
