The Buffalo Sabres have recalled forward Lukas Rousek from the Rochester Americans, the team announced Saturday.
Rousek, 23, ranks second on the Amerks with 48 points (15+33) in 61 games this season. He tallied four goals and five assists during a five-game point streak earlier this month.
The Sabres visit the New York Islanders tonight at 5 p.m. The team was without forwards Jordan Greenway (upper body) and Vinnie Hinostroza (personal matter) for its 5-4 win against the Devils on Friday. Tage Thompson left in the first period following a collision with Devils forward Timo Meier but returned in the second and finished the game.
