Sabres recall Pilut from Rochester

The Buffalo Sabres have recalled defenseman Lawrence Pilut from the Rochester Americans, the team announced Friday.
Pilut returned to the Sabres this past summer after spending two seasons in the KHL. He has two assists in three games with Rochester.
The Sabres lost defenseman Henri Jokiharju during the first period of their game in Calgary on Thursday after the puck was shot off his mouth.
"He's a huge part of our D corps. Seeing him go down that way, I got scared," Rasmus Dahlin said postgame of the injury to Jokiharju. "I haven't really talked to him yet, so I got to see how he's doing. Yeah, it was a scary situation for sure but I'm happy he's back on his feet and I saw him smiling, so that was good."

Ilya Lyubushkin is day to day after sustaining an injury in Edmonton on Tuesday, though he did participate in the pregame skate on Thursday.
The Sabres are midway through a season-long, four-game road trip. They play the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday before concluding the trip in Seattle on Tuesday.
