The Buffalo Sabres have 13 games remaining and find themselves six points out of a Wild Card berth.
The next stretch of games includes four of the next five at home, starting tomorrow against Nashville.
Here's what you need to know.

Last week's big story

On Friday, the Sabres signed goaltender Devon Levi to a three-year entry-level contract.
Buffalo acquired Levi and a first-round pick at the 2022 NHL Draft (used to select forward Jiri Kulich 28th overall) from the Florida Panthers for Sam Reinhart back on July 24, 2021. The Panthers had drafted Levi in the seventh round (212th overall) in 2020.

This year, Levi was named to the Hockey East First All-Star Team and was named a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award and the Mike Richter Award (award to the NCAA's top goaltender), all for the second consecutive season. He was also named as the Hockey East Player of the Year and the Hockey East Goaltender of the Year.
Last season, Levi won the Mike Richter Award and the Tim Taylor Award (Top Collegiate Rookie), earned Hockey East Player of the Week honors six times and Hockey East Rookie of the Month twice, and was a finalist for the Hobey Baker.
Levi's .942 career save percentage is the second-best mark in the history of men's college hockey, trailing just Connor Hellebuyck (.946), who played in eight fewer games. He led all NCAA goaltenders in save percentage in each of the last two seasons.

KEVYN ADAMS

He will remain with the Sabres for the remainder of the season and may see game action at some point.
"We thought it was really important to have Devon integrate right away with our team," general manager Kevyn Adams said Friday. "I want to make sure that we get him comfortable. Obviously, he's going to go through the immigration and then once he gets to Buffalo] get into practices, start to feel part of the team and with the guys."

The team will get right back at it tomorrow when the Predators come to town. Faceoff is set for 7 p.m. on MSG and WGR 550. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 on MSG.
Buffalo will host Military Appreciation Night on Friday for their game against the New Jersey Devils. Special programming throughout the game will pay tribute to the brave men and women who've served.
The team will also wear custom jerseys during pregame warmups that will honor current service members and veterans. Stay tuned for more details.
