The Buffalo Sabres have signed forward Brandon Biro to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $762,500, the team announced Friday.
Biro, 24, enjoyed his most productive professional season in 2021-22 with 41 points (12+29) in 48 games for the Rochester Americans.

He made his NHL debut for the Sabres in a loss at Montreal on Feb. 23, after which he returned to the Amerks and sustained an injury that kept him sidelined until mid-April. He returned to tally five points in his last eight regular-season games.

Biro joined the organization as an undrafted free agent in 2020 after completing a four-year career at Penn State, where he captained the team as a senior. He had five points (2+3) in 15 games during his rookie season with Rochester in 2020-21.
