Sabres sign Rousek to 2-year, entry-level contract

Forward was a 6th-round pick by Buffalo in 2019

The Buffalo Sabres have signed forward Lukas Rousek to a two-year, entry-level contract. The contract begins in 2021-22.

Rousek, 22, was selected by the Sabres during the sixth round of the 2019 NHL Draft (160th overall). He tallied a career-high 38 points (14+24) in 49 games this season with HC Sparta Praha of Czech Extraliga, the highest-level pro league in the Czech Republic.
He added seven points (2+5) in 11 playoff contests.
