Buffalo

  • Rasmus Dahlin extended his point streak to a career-best seven games with his goal in New Jersey on Tuesday. A point tonight would make him the third defenseman in Sabres history to record an eight-game streak, joining Phil Housley and John Van Boxmeer.
  • Dylan Cozens also enters tonight on a career-best six-game point streak, with three goals and four assists in that span.
  • Erik Johnson will play his former team for the first time since departing the Avalanche via free agency this past summer. Johnson played 717 games spanning 13 seasons with Colorado and won the Stanley Cup with the franchise in 2022.

Colorado
