20231027 Hockey Halloween

Want to have a scary good time this weekend?

We’ve planned an afternoon the entire family can enjoy for our Hockey Halloween game against the Colorado Avalanche this Sunday, Oct. 29. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with puck drop scheduled for 1 p.m.

Secure your seats here.

Here’s what you need to know before attending the game.

Back in Black and Red

The Sabres will take the ice in their black-and-red third jerseys for the second time this season. They won their previous game in the uniforms 3-1 over the New York Islanders last Saturday.

Last season, the Sabres went 10-1-1 and outscored opponents 58-36 while wearing the third jerseys.

Trading Card Giveaway

The first 5,000 fans in attendance on Sunday will receive special edition player cards depicting the Sabres in their black-and-red uniforms. Check them out in the tweet below.

Family Fun

Here’s a list of the spooky fun we have planned for the KeyBank Center concourse:

  • The three witches from Disney’s “Hocus Pocus” will be in attendance for photos.
  • Kids activities include a coloring station, airbrush tattoos, and braids provided by braidbabes.
  • Plenty of photo opportunities including a balloon display and a 360 photobooth.
  • We’ll air Halloween-themed videos throughout the night. (If you ever wondered what Jeff Skinner wore for Halloween growing up, you’re in luck.)
