Victor Olofsson scored the winning goal in Sweden's 3-1 victory over Slovakia at the IIHF World Championship in Latvia on Sunday.
The victory propelled Sweden into fourth place in the Group A standings with one game remaining in group play. The top four teams from each group advance to the quarterfinal round.

Arttu Ruotsalainen tallied three shots in 16:52 for Finland, which earned the win on Anton Lundell's goal in overtime. Finland leads the Group B standings with 15 points.
