Sabres reassign Quinn to Rochester

The Buffalo Sabres have reassigned rookie forward Jack Quinn to the Rochester Americans of the AHL, the team announced Tuesday.

Quinn sustained a lower-body injury during Buffalo's game on January 20 and returned to practice for the first time Tuesday morning.

In two NHL games, Quinn has a goal and an assist. He was selected by the Sabres with the eighth-overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.
This season with Rochester, he's recorded 35 points (18+17) in 24 games.
Both the Sabres and Amerks will be back in action on Wednesday. The Sabres will face Toronto on the road while the Amerks will host Syracuse.
