Throughout the day, fans will be able to play lawn games like cornhole, take part in hockey skills activations in an inflatable rink and watch players go head-to-head in trivia competitions and other games on the stage in Alumni Plaza.
A Kids Zone, food trucks, a beer garden, sponsorship activations, and autograph and photo opportunities will also be available for fans to enjoy.
Inside KeyBank Center, memorabilia throughout the team's history will be on display. The retired number banners - including Rick Jeanneret's - will be lowered in the arena bowl so fans can take pose for a photo opportunity with them.
The Sabres will be retiring Ryan Miller's No. 30 on January 19. Purchasing a Full-Season or Half-Season ticket membership is the only way fans can guarantee they'll be able to attend Ryan Miller Night.
Also in the KeyBank Center concourses, game-used equipment and other specialty items will be on sale with all proceeds benefitting the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
New red and black merchandise will also be available for purchase at the Sabres Store.
Festivities will conclude at 6 p.m. with live music on the stage starting at 4:30. Fans will also be able to cheer on the Sabres as players make their way from KeyBank Center to LECOM Harborcenter for a 7 p.m. Prospects Challenge game against the New Jersey Devils.
Tickets for the Prospects Challenge are on sale now and are just $10.
On Sunday, September 18, fans can start their day with the Sabres 5K race at Alumni Plaza at 9 a.m. A Kids Fun Run will begin at 10:30 and select activations will be open to the public from 11 until 4.
Registration for the race is open now.
Sabres players and prospects will be there to cheer runners on.
