Sabres reduce roster to 23

Nylander, 3 other sent to Amerks; Guhle to junior club

The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has released five players from its roster.

The following four players have been loaned to the Rochester Americans (AHL): Forwards Nick Baptiste, Daniel Catenacci and Alexander Nylander; defenseman Justin Falk.
Defenseman Brendan Guhle has been returned to the Prince Albert Raiders (WHL).
The Sabres now have 23 players (14 forwards, 7 defensemen and two goaltenders) on their roster.
