The Sabres came up short in a 4-3 loss to the Anaheim Ducks inside KeyBank Center on Monday and will now hit the road for a two-game road swing before returning home on Sunday.

Jordan Greenway, Tage Thompson, and Zach Benson scored in the loss as Buffalo outshot Anaheim 37-15. Read more in Monday’s postgame report.

YOUTH HOCKEY DAY RECAP

The Sabres hosted Youth Hockey Day on Monday in celebration of local teams and players in Western New York and Southern Ontario.

Ahead of the game, players were accompanied by youth players as they entered the arena.

DADS’ TRIP

The team kicked off its Dads' Trip by welcoming its dads and father figures to KeyBank Center on Monday. The trip will continue in Montreal and Columbus this week. Follow along for special content on the Sabres' social media accounts throughout the week.

Wednesday, Feb. 21: Buffalo at Montreal, 7 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 23: Buffalo at Columbus, 7 p.m.

Both games will be televised on MSG/MSG+ with pregame coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. Fans without cable can also stream MSG on Fubo. Radio coverage can be found on WGR 550.

CHOOSE LOVE NIGHT

The Sabres will host Choose Love Night when they return home on Sunday to put a spotlight on the Black community and local Black-owned businesses throughout Western New York.

Puck drop is set for 6 p.m.

AMERKS UPDATE

The Rochester Americans currently sit in third place in the AHL’s North Division standings with 54 points and a 24-17-5 record after recording points in six of their last seven games while going 4-1-2 in those contests.

In Monday’s matchup with the Toronto Marlies, goaltender Devon Levi made a career-high 52 saves to lead the Amerks in a 2-1 overtime win over the Marlies. Jeremy Davies tallied the game-winning goal in the final seconds of the overtime period while Mason Jobst scored the game-tying goal in the second period.

Rochester hosts Belleville on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
