The 2015 4th round pick, Adam Helewka is at his second Sharks Development Camp.
In his first full season with the San Jose Barracuda, Helewka scored 14 goals and 15 assists in 58 games. "I'm a two-way forward," Helewka said. "I like to take care of defense first but then I like to be creative in the offensive zone. I like to call myself a playmaker."

With a year of professional hockey under his belt, Helewka has some new goals in mind. "I'm trying to take more of a leadership role next year. So I want to maybe learn how to be a leader and mature a little bit and work on my compete level."
He's had some help in that department through this past season from one of the development coaches. "Mike Ricci's kinda been taking me under his wing you could say, and helping me and talking to me all the time."
"They're all long days here and we're working hard all day so we get to know each other pretty well and see each other's face a lot," Helewka said of the camp. "So far everyone's getting along really well."
