The 2017 first round pick for the San Jose Sharks is taking everything in stride at his first Sharks Development Camp.
Josh Norris, a center out of Oxford, Michigan, scored 27 goals and 34 assists in 61 games with the US National Development Program. Norris describes himself as a 200 foot player who can play on both the power play and penalty kill, which fits perfectly with the Sharks' current forward group.

"It's nice to meet some other guys and see how their years went and where they're from," said Norris. "So that's a cool part of it.
On the pace of the camp itself, Norris said, "Everything happens pretty fast, there's not too much sitting around so you gotta be ready when your number's called."
