Dev-Camp-Recap-1

The Sharks held their annual Sharks Development Camp for prospects July 11-15 at Sharks Ice at San Jose.

The camp brought the organization's top prospects to San Jose to meet with staff, coaches, and the media while working out on and off the ice.

Several of the organization's top prospects were in attendance all week including William Eklund, Thomas Bordeleau, Brandon Coe, Danil Gushchin, Ozzy Wiesblatt, Ryan Merkley, and 2022 First Round Selection Filip Bystedt.

The camp serves as not just a way for the hockey staff to get to know the prospects and their game better, but also for the players to bond with each other.
What better way to bond that than throwing some axes together?

We also wanted to make sure the fans in Sharks Territory were getting to know their future favorite players. So we asked the guys some important questions:

The highlight of the week was a 3-on-3 prospect scrimmage tournament in front of fans at Sharks Ice.

Team Beaupit (Ben Gaudreau, Brandon Coe, Cameron Lund, Tristen Robins, Mitchell Russell, Alex Young, Eli Barnett, Michael Fisher, and Samuel Mayer) took home the inaugural Marchment Cup, named in memory of longtime Sharks scout Bryan Marchment.

After a successful week with the prospects, the future of the Sharks is looking bright.
