Jack Anderson - Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

Jaren Burke - Amateur Scout (Ontario)

Igor Eronko - Amateur Scout (Russia)

Ryan Miller - Goalie Scout/Goaltending Development

Thomas Vanek - Amateur Scout (Minnesota)

Anderson will assist Director of Strength and Conditioning Steven DiLustro in tracking player fitness, collecting on-ice skating data, and off-ice workout and regeneration sessions during the season. He previously worked at P3 as a performance coach for the past three years, working with a variety of professional athletes. He also worked with the Washington Capitals as a seasonal strength and conditioning coach for four years and served as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for the University of Mary Washington, overseeing the strength and conditioning department for 23 varsity sports programs.

Burke will serve as an amateur scout based in the Ontario region. Burke previously worked with the Toronto Maple Leafs for one season as the club's management development associate. As a player, Burke appeared in two seasons for Queen's University, playing 39 total games and scoring 15 points (five goals, 10 assists). He also spent two seasons with the Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute (RPI), appearing in 29 games.

Eronko will serve as the organization's Russian scout. Eronko served as Avangard Omsk's Assistant General Manager for the last three seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Eronko also worked as a hockey writer, sideline reporter and NHL commentator.

Miller will scout draft-eligible goaltenders as the Sharks goalie scout, and also assist Director, Goaltending Evgeni Nabokov in the organization's development of the goaltending prospects and players. As a player, Miller played across 18 seasons with the Buffalo Sabres, St. Louis Blues, Vancouver Canucks and Anaheim Ducks. In 796 career games, Miller amassed a 391-289-88 record with a .914 save percentage and 2.64 goals against average. Miller is the all-time wins leader among U.S. born players and is second on the list in shutouts (44) and games played. He was selected in the fifth round of the 1999 NHL Draft by Buffalo, playing for the franchise for his first 11 seasons. He is their franchise leader among goaltenders in games played (540) and wins (284), and is second in shutouts (28) behind only Dominik Hasek. Miller was elected to the 2022 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame. Internationally, he represented Team USA during the 2010 and 2014 Olympics, where he helped lead the team to a silver medal finish in 2010 and was named as the MVP of the tournament. He also represented USA in the 2001, 2002 and 2003 World Championship.

Vanek will scout the Minnesota region for the Sharks. As a player, Vanek played in 14 NHL seasons for the Buffalo Sabres, New York Islanders, Montreal Canadiens, Detroit Red Wings, Florida Panthers, Vancouver Canucks and Columbus Blue Jackets. He appeared in 1,029 NHL games, scoring 789 points (373 goals, 416 points), and was a two-time 40-goal scorer while with the Sabres for nine years. He led the league in power-play goals in 2008-09 and was named to the NHL's Second All-Star team in 2006-07 and also played in the NHL All-Star game in 2009. He ranks fifth all-time in Buffalo's franchise history in goals (254). Prior to his professional career, he helped Minnesota win the NCAA National Championship in 2003, was named to the All-Tournament Team and scored what stood as the game-winning goal in a 5-1 victory in the title game. He was selected as the tournament's most outstanding player. After his retirement following the 2018-19 season, Vanek has also served as an assistant coach for Stillwater High at the USHS level.
