Lindblom, 25, appeared in 79 games during the 2021-22 season, scoring 26 points (12 goals, 14 assists) with 22 penalty minutes with the Philadelphia Flyers. Lindblom ranked sixth among Flyers skaters in goals. On Sept. 3, 2020 Lindblom returned to the lineup for Philadelphia in the Eastern Conference Second Round after completing treatment for Ewing's sarcoma, initially diagnosed on Dec. 10, 2019. The following season he appeared in 50 games, scoring 14 points and was awarded the Bill Masterton Trophy, for best exemplifying the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey. He was also a Finalist for the award in the 2019-20 season.
Over the course of his NHL career, Lindblom has appeared in 263 NHL games all with Philadelphia, scoring 97 points (50 goals, 47 assists) along with 63 penalty minutes. He has also appeared in 62 games for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, recording 41 points (18 goals, 23 assists).
Prior to his professional career, he played in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) for Brynas IF over four years, collecting 87 points (38 goals, 49 assists) in 141 NHL games. In the 2016-17 season, he was named the Swedish Forward of the Year and helped his club win a Silver Medal in the postseason, leading all skaters in assists (10). In his rookie campaign the year prior, he held the most assists (17) and points (25) by a Junior in the SHL.
The six-foot-two, 192-pound forward was originally selected by Philadelphia in the 2014 NHL Draft (fifth round, 138th overall).
