The Sharks will play each NHL opponent at least a total of two times this season, once at home and once on the road, meaning every NHL team will visit SAP Center at San Jose this season.
Special matinee home games starting at 1 p.m. will be held on March 10 vs. Washington and March 24 vs. Calgary. The Sharks will also host three 5 p.m. games (Dec. 10 vs. Minnesota, Jan. 20 vs. Pittsburgh and Feb. 18 vs. Dallas).
In addition, the Sharks announced the first of their promotional giveaway schedule for the 2017- 18 NHL season. The initial schedule of giveaways includes a newly-designed 2017-18 Los Tiburones Jersey created by local Latin artist Jesse Hernandez on Oct. 14 vs. the New York Islanders, a Joe Pavelski Bobblehead on Nov. 4 vs. the Anaheim Ducks, a Sharks-themed Star Wars Mini Poster giveaway on Dec. 9 vs. the Ottawa Senators, and more. Additional dates and promotional giveaways will be added and announced at a later date.
