The five-foot-eleven, 185-pound native of Rumson, New Jersey, was originally selected by San Jose in the seventh round (198th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
Additionally, Wilson has announced that the Sharks have reassigned Forward Danny O'Regan (

) to the San Jose Barracuda.
In ten games with the Sharks, O'Regan posted four assists and five shots on goal. His time with the Sharks was highlighted by a two assist night against Tampa Bay on December 2.
O'Regan is tied for first amongst all Barracuda skaters in goals (6), ranks tied for 5th in assists (6) and 4th in points (12) in 13 games played.
He was named the 2017 Dudley "Red" Garrett Memorial Award winner as the AHL's Rookie of the Year last season after pacing all AHL rookies in points (58 in 63 GP).
