In his career, the Northbrook, Illinois native has skated in 43 NHL games, all with the Anaheim Ducks, collecting five points (one goal, four assists). In addition, he has appeared in 346 AHL games with San Jose, Chicago, San Diego and Norfolk, totaling 87 points (15 goals, 72 assists), 164 penalty minutes and a +81 rating. In 2019-20, as a member of the AHL's Chicago Wolves, Megna served as an alternate captain under current Sharks' Assistant Coach Rocky Thompson and also was the captain of the San Diego Gulls in 2018-19.
The six-foot-six, 220-pounder was originally selected by Anaheim in the 2012 NHL Draft (seventh round, 210 overall).
