1) Cause based, Nationally chartered 501(c)3 non-profit charity organizations (health, groups in need, etc.) are eligible to receive free S. J. Sharkie appearances. These appearances typically last a maximum of 30 minutes.
2) Appearances for all other 501(c) non-profit organizations (including churches, after school programs, 2nd party fundraising, non-profit businesses, government lobby, etc.) will be charged a minimal fee for the appearance or be cassified as a corporate event.
Travel outside of a 40 mile zone from the SAP Center may require additional fees.
**Please be aware that all charity requests will require a copy of your 501(C)3 paperwork, assigning non-profit status to your organization, prior to the event. Non-profit groups that do not have government 501(c)3 designation my require a small fee.
All Charity events must be scheduled a minimum of 1 week prior to the desired date, and are first come -- first served.
Free school appearances are performed through the school year as part of the Reading Is Cool, Anti-Bully, Stick to Fitness , Financials, and Future Goals programs. Learn more about our school programs.
All other school events (carnivals, walk-a-thons, etc) will carry a $100 appearance fee. Included in this fee will be a Sharks/Sharkie gift pack worth $100 to user for raffles, auctions or other fundraising.
Travel outside of a 50 mile zone from the SAP Center may require additional fees.
Private and for profit day care, pre-school and employer supplied centers are considered corporate events (see above) and not a non-profit educational center and/or school.

S.J. Sharkie-grams are limited to 5 per game, and are first come -- first served. They must be scheduled 2 full business days prior to the desired game date. (i.e. for a Thursday game, the cut off would be end of business on Monday.)

Do you want to put a special greeting on the SAP Center scoreboard during a Sharks Game? Happy Birthday, Welcome, Marriage Proposal, Prom and more?
The Sharks are offering completely customizable greetings. Your greeting will appear in lights during the 1st intermission and you may add any greeting to the center hung scoreboard. Greetings are limited to 4 lines of text, each line a max. 25 characters long.
Scoreboard greetings are limited to 20 per game, and must be scheduled by 9am the business day prior to the desired game date, and are first come -- first served (i.e.: for a Wednesday game, the cut off would be 9am on Tuesday, for Saturday, Sunday and Monday, cutoff would be 9am on Friday.).

*Messages may not be used for commercial purpose; advertisements, including websites, phone numbers, and social media handles and hashtags, are prohibited; however, you may welcome a group or company who is attending the game.
Messages that are obscene, offensive, or refer negatively to any NHL team are prohibited. Names of NHL players are also prohibited.
The Sharks reserve the right to remove or edit any message if necessary. If message is removed, there will be a full refund.
