Stars announce grand opening of The Hangar in Frisco, Texas

FRISCO, Texas -- Dallas Stars President Brad Alberts announced today, in conjunction with Hangar Hockeyandadidas Hockey, that the grand opening of The Hangar - Frisco will take place on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 9 a.m. CT. The Hangar - Frisco is located at Comerica Center (2601 Avenue of the Stars, Frisco, TX 75034), the training facility and executive offices of the Dallas Stars, adjacent to the Stars practice rink in the space that Rally House previously occupied.
To celebrate the opening of the store, Dallas Stars forward Roope Hintz will be on-hand to sign autographs for fans from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. Hintz just completed his rookie season with the Stars, posting 22 points (9-13=22) in 58 games played. In the Stanley Cup Playoffs, his five goals were tied for the team lead as he registered eight points (5-3=8) in 13 games.

The Hangar - Frisco will introduce a new adidas Hockey in-store concept shop where customers will find a variety of hockey-centric lifestyle and workout wear. The store will also feature the adidas Creator Zone, which gives patrons the ability to customize their favorite adidas items with names, numbers and logos.

"The new adidas shop in The Hangar will provide boys and girls of all ages the opportunity to access and customize their favorite adidas product in the same way the best players in the NHL and Women's National Team programs are able to."
The store will also carry pro-stock hockey gear and authentic game-used equipment along with exclusive styles from '47 Brand, Levelwear, New Era, Zephyr, TravisMathew and Galvin Green.
"We're thrilled to unveil The Hangar - Frisco to our fans on Saturday," said Alberts. "This store will be a totally new shopping experience for our fans, and the adidas Creator Zone will make getting customizable items so convenient."
Store hours for The Hangar - Frisco will be Saturday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. and Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
