FRISCO, Texas --TheDallas Starsannounced today increased security measures for fans attending Dallas Stars practices at Comerica Center.
At the direction of the National Hockey League, the team will start enforcing the following procedures beginning at Dallas Stars Training Camp on Friday, Sept. 13:

Security screening

Prior to entering the ice rink portion of Comerica Center, fans will now be required to go through security screening. Bags and other items brought into the ice rink area will be subject to screening.

Access to entry tunnel

The entry tunnel to Comerica Center, which connects the parking garage to the facility, will be designated a "no waiting zone" for Stars practices. Fans are still allowed to enter and exit the building through this access point but will no longer be able to sit or stand in the entry tunnel during Stars practice hours.

Fan autographs

The new guidelines will require a change for fans seeking autographs before or after Stars practices. To ensure the safety of our players and fans, autographs will only be permitted during select practice days in secure autograph areas. Autograph seekers will no longer be permitted to wait for players in the entry tunnel to Comerica Center. Visit DallasStars.com or follow the team on social media for communications on autograph availability for select practice dates.
The new security measures will remain in place for all Stars practices during the 2019-20 NHL season at Comerica Center. Dallas Stars Training Camp and practices at Comerica Center are still free and open to the public, with parking available in the adjacent parking garage.
