Stars (5-6-2, 12 points) vs. Red Wings (8-7-2, 18 points)

The Stars wrap up a three-game homestand against the Detroit Red Wings on Military Night at American Airlines Center. Tonight's contest will be shown exclusively on ESPN+ and Hulu with no blackout restrictions.
The first 8,000 fans in attendance will receive a Stars camo hat, presented by City Credit Union, and Stars players will wear special Military Appreciation jerseys during warmup. Proceeds from the auction, and the night's 50/50 Raffle, will benefit Dallas Warriors Hockey, a club dedicated to injured and disabled U.S. military veterans.

The Red Wings have won four of their past six games (4-2-0) but dropped the opener of a four-game road trip against the Blue Jackets. Lucas Raymond and Tyler Bertuzzi co-lead the team in scoring with 17 points in 17 games.
Raymond, 19, leads NHL rookies in goals (7), power-play goals (3), points and shots (45), while ranking tied for first in assists (10) and second in power-play points (4). Selected fourth overall in the 2020 NHL Draft, Raymond became the fifth player in Red Wings history to average at least a point per game through 17 games.
The Stars snapped a two-game losing streak with their win on Saturday, which featured five different players scoring goals. Luke Glendening (one goal, one assist) and Roope Hintz (one goal, one assist) led the club with two-point performances, while 12 separate skaters recorded at least one point. Dallas scored with the man advantage to push its streak to six consecutive games with a power-play goal. The Stars have gone 7-for-16 (43.8%) on the power play over that span.
This is the first of two meetings between the Stars and Red Wings in the 2021-22 campaign. Last season, the Stars took six of the eight matchups (6-2-0) including all four at American Airlines Center.
The Stars have won four of the past five (4-1-0), seven of the past nine (7-2-0) and 11 of the past 15 (11-4-0) against the Red Wings. They're also riding an eight-game home winning streak against the Wings, while they've notched points in 10 straight (8-0-2) against them at AAC. The club's eight-game winning streak and 10-game point streak on home ice against Detroit is its second-longest active streak against one team in both categories. (Longest win and point streak: 13-0-0 in last 13 games vs. Arizona on home ice).
